When You Might Need Storage
Goods often have to wait somewhere between one stage of their journey and the next. For example:
- your goods are ready before the ship or flight leaves
- imported goods arrive before you are ready to receive them
- goods are waiting for customs clearance
- several smaller shipments need to be combined into one
We plan storage together with your transport and clearing, so your goods always have somewhere to go.

Warehousing FAQs
How are storage charges worked out?
Usually by the space your goods take up and how long they stay, plus any handling or packing. Your quote will show each charge.
How long can I store my goods?
From a few days to longer periods. Tell us how long you expect to need storage and we will include it in your quote.
Can you store goods that need special conditions?
Tell us about any special needs — such as temperature control or hazardous goods — in your enquiry, and we will confirm what is possible before you commit.
Why plan storage with customs clearing?
Goods left at the port waiting for clearance can build up port charges quickly. Planning clearing and storage together keeps those costs down.
