Questions & Answers
Frequently Asked Questions
What does a freight forwarder do?
A freight forwarder arranges the shipping of your goods for you. We book the transport, prepare the documents, deal with customs and coordinate everyone involved — so you don’t have to.
Should I ship by sea or by air?
Air is faster and suits urgent, valuable or light goods. Sea costs less and suits large or heavy goods that are not urgent. Tell us about your cargo and we will recommend the better option. See ocean freight and air cargo.
Which documents will I need?
Most shipments need a commercial invoice, a packing list and a bill of lading (sea) or air waybill (air). Some also need permits or certificates. We tell you exactly what your shipment needs — see shipment documentation.
Can you clear my goods through customs?
Yes. We prepare the customs documents, explain the duties and charges, follow up the clearance and arrange delivery. See clearing and forwarding.
How do I get a quote?
Fill in our quote form or call us. Tell us what the goods are, where they are going, their approximate weight and size, and when you need them shipped. Every quote is based on your actual shipment.
